The International Mobility of Talent is a Decisive Factor for Competitiveness and Growth
The ability to attract and develop skills from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds represents a strategic lever for countries like the United Arab Emirates, which aspire to become leaders in innovation by combining expertise, vision and responsibility.
This was the central theme of the event Gateway to Talent: Bridging Europe and the Emirates, held at the Hub for Made in Italy in Dubai, organized by Umana Group in collaboration with Italiacamp, Luiss University and Indeed.
The event brought together institutional representatives, business leaders, and academics to explore global trends in talent mobility – how employer branding policies and new digital technologies are transforming the way people and organizations connect – and to share perspectives on Dubai and the United Arab Emirates as hubs for skills and innovation.
The ability to attract and develop skills from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds is a strategic cornerstone for countries seeking to establish themselves as leaders in innovation and sustainable development.
As Leo Cisotta, General Manager of Italiacamp EMEA, highlighted:
“We are here to talk about people. About their journeys. About the bridges we can build between Europe and the Emirates. Dubai and the UAE have become one of the most exciting places in the world for people who have the ambition to grow: an ecosystem that welcomes talent from different backgrounds and helps them achieve their ambitions.”
Gateway to Talent: Bridging Europe and the Emirates was also the occasion to present the Apply Emirates platform by CVing Middle East, dedicated to recruitment and employer engagement, created to establish a concrete bridge between Europe and the United Arab Emirates and to facilitate the meeting between companies and talented professionals.
